Wave Demo - Now you can play the game in waves
The latest addition to the game prototype is Wave Demo, which will become the standard game mode when it gets polished further.
In the Waves Demo, now players can fight opponents in waves, which provided much needed variance in flow rather than having endless opponents overwhelm the player constantly. Additionally, the urchins now appear together with opponent fish. When a wave is cleared by defeating all opponent fish, all the urchins will disappear. The wave number provides a little break for players to set themselves up for an upcoming round.
With the Waves implemented, it is easier for the developer to control the difficulty of the waves, resulting in basic opponents appearing first in small numbers, and then more advanced types with bigger numbers in later waves.
